The Seminole County System - Is it changing - some info,

Anonymous — February 1, 2010 - 2:59pm

I, like all of you do miss Jeff's Seminole County feed. I am also at a loss as to what P25 is about, but I did some digging and have an excellent source of info in the link below.

It looks like perhaps the analog scanners of yesterday may not work. After reading the link I was left with the pression that perhaps a digital scanner may be required. After reading the link and searching for further info I am certain what will be needed nor do we even know that Seminole is going to Project 25 as they call it.

I am new to the scanner scene. I purchased an iPhone and got an at that allows listening to feeds that are provided by folks like Jeff. I listened so frequently that I became addicted! My wife enjoyed it every bit as much as I did! We are located in an unincorporated section of Longwood, and I even began to learn the signal and ten codes.

I am a local ham licensed in 1963 and would gladly offer my services if I may be of se help in one way or another.
